German Shepherds are an amazing type of dog. They are loyal, brave, sweet, and beautiful! Before you get a Shepherd, you must have experience- just like all dogs. Now Alyssa has a German Shepherd Sanctuary where all of the old Shepherds go that need homes. On this website you will learn almost everything you need to know about German Shepherds. Please remember that German Shepherds are not like all dogs and that they require experienced dog owners. When I say experienced dog owners, I mean owners that have owned or cared for a large dog. Please do not get a German Shepherd because you think they will protect you. In reality, the owners are supposed to protect the dog. Like any dog, if you befriend them, they will protect you when protection is needed. German Shepherds are remarkable dogs. Remember to Adopt A Shepherd!
